LOEWE has unveiled its latest Paula's Ibiza collection, a vibrant embodiment of summer's essence, launching on Thursday, April 17th. This collection, deeply inspired by the iconic Ibiza boutique "Paula's," captures the spirit of summer as a feeling – an energy that pervades urban landscapes and travel destinations alike.

The collection's visual narrative, shot by Gray Sorrenti on the sun-drenched beaches of Comporta, Portugal, features LOEWE brand ambassador and musician Gisele, alongside actors Sophie Wilde, Enzo Vogrincic, and Jamie Dornan. These striking visuals, bathed in the varied light of dawn to dusk, evoke the languid days spent under the Mediterranean sun, mirroring the island's own rhythm. The imagery is direct, dynamic, and rich in color, with a striking interplay of light and shadow. Set against a backdrop of natural elements – fences, dried branches – the cast appears in harmony with their surroundings, capturing moments of uninhibited joy. This same energy permeates the still-life photography, where bags and sunglasses are juxtaposed with the natural beauty of the sand and foliage, or draped over rustic fences and weathered artifacts.

The collection itself is a celebration of freedom and playfulness, offering a sophisticated mix-and-match wardrobe characterized by flowing silhouettes, artisanal embellishments, and motifs drawn from compasses, feathers, and the island's lush flora. Dresses and skirts, crafted from light, summery blends, feature draping and gathering, while jersey and textured knits are enhanced with lace inserts and trims. Denim, in both soft and relaxed silhouettes, is presented in classic and patterned styles for men, and in unexpected pastel hues for women.

LOEWE's dedication to craftsmanship is evident in the raffia-woven bags. The new "Ola" bag, crafted using traditional techniques, features a wavy silhouette accented with a short donut chain. Hand-woven raffia also takes center stage in the "Punch Hole Basket," a bold creation with a leather belt strap. The "Punch Hole Hobo," with its soft crochet and leather patch pockets, offers a more relaxed aesthetic. The "Featherlight Puzzle" bag debuts in a new mini size, while baskets, pockets, and pouches are adorned with garden-inspired floral and bee embroideries. Handcrafted flower and tomato bag charms add a touch of whimsy.

The footwear collection includes the new "Rio" suede slippers, hand-stitched with vibrant rainbow-colored raffia, and "Anagram" slides in a variety of colors and kitten heels. The "Petal" espadrilles offer a contemporary twist on a classic design. Prints paying homage to the American rock band Grateful Dead, along with fruit and vegetable charms and pins, infuse the collection with a playful energy. LOEWE continues its support for regional communities that handcraft basket bags, with ongoing donations aiding in the construction of craft training schools in Madagascar and university scholarship programs in Colombia.
