Introduction

GoFind Events was created to solve a very modern problem: the difficulty of making real world connections in a digital first world. Whether it is friend socials or high energy singles mixers, the brand focuses on bringing people in Indianapolis and across the Midwest together in physical spaces. My objective for this project was to provide the strategic and visual infrastructure needed to scale this mission for early 2026. I worked as a multidisciplinary lead to ensure that every event was not only well attended but also documented in a way that captured the authentic joy of meeting someone new. Working directly with Bo allowed for a deep level of creative ideation on how to best market a business built on human interaction. My role was split between high level strategy and hands on production. We were able to develop a multi channel strategy that focused on social proof and community outreach. This involved coordinating with local outlets and influencers to position GoFind as the premier authority on social life in the 317. We worked to ensure that the PR messaging felt inclusive and welcoming to everyone from young professionals to established residents. With visuals are the currency of trust for social events. I led the production of high quality photo and video assets that showcased the vibrant atmosphere of the mixers. By focusing on candid moments and genuine smiles I was able to create a library of content that proved these events were safe, fun, and effective. Moving from ideation to execution meant managing the logistics of various event formats like "Plates and Mates" and "Pitch A Single Friend." I oversaw the project timelines to ensure that marketing materials were synced with ticket launches and venue collaborations.

The primary challenge of this project was documenting intimate social interactions without making the attendees feel self conscious. In a singles or friend mixer environment, the presence of a camera can easily kill the "vibe."

We had to develop a "fly on the wall" approach to photography and videography that allowed me to capture the energy of the room from a distance.

GoFind Events is a testament to the power of well executed community building. Our work together didn't just sell tickets. It created a hub for people to find their "people" in a city that was looking for more ways to engage. The success of our marketing and documentation efforts has helped solidify the brand’s reputation as a well oiled machine that delivers meaningful results.

I am proud to have played a role in the growth of this business and to have helped Bo turn a local need into a regional movement.
