The focus of this project shifted away from the main stage and toward the soul of the event, the community and the craft. I operated as a narrative editor, distilling hours of sensory overload into a cohesive digital story that prioritized the "vibe" over the lineup.
Culinary & Generational Storytelling: Treating the culture as a headliner. I focused on the steam, the neon reflections on street-food stalls, the artist's pull on an audience and the tactile reality of the night to make the viewer smell and hear an evening missed out. Human Connectivity: Documenting the faces in the crowd. My lens was directed at the authentic interactions—the fashion, the music, the shared meals, and the unforced joy that defines 88rising’s dedicated community. Environmental Textures: Using the Los Angeles backdrop to enhance the narrative, I leaned into a "raw but refined" aesthetic. Utilizing the low-light challenges of a night market I created a visual language that felt both intimate and expansive. The Strategic Pull: Creating content designed to act as a "wish you were here" catalyst. Built FOMO through high-end imagery and fast-paced editorial cuts that serve as the blueprint for future event marketing.

The 88rising brand is proof that food and music are the ultimate universal languages. Being in the thick of that L.A. energy reminded me why I do this, to find the "gold" in the middle of the chaos. I left the market with a camera full of neon-drenched memories and a deeper understanding of how to document a brand that is constantly moving at the speed of the future.
88's pull their are building is permanent.
Next projects.
