Janu Tokyo

Hey there design enthusiasts! Tokyo's ever-evolving landscape just got a little more exciting with the unveiling of Janu Tokyo, a concept of luxury nestled within the HUGE Azabudai Hills neighborhood. With its grand debut in March 2024, Janu Tokyo marks the inaugural property under Aman Group's new brand, Janu, promising a fusion of energy, elegance, and distinctive design.

Picture this: Aman Group,(my favorite hotel brand) renowned for its timeless luxury (Aman, Amangiri to name a few), partnering with legendary hospitality designer Jean-Michel Gathy to create a space that's more than just a hotel – it's a luxery-Tokyo experience. Gathy's touch is unmistakable, infusing Janu Tokyo with an atmosphere that's youthful, vibrant, and undeniably captivating for tourists, and natives alike. You're taken into a realm where every detail tells a story based in Japanese modernism and roots. From the sleek exterior that commands attention to the meticulously curated interiors that blend Asian and European aesthetics, Janu Tokyo exudes a sense of serenity amidst the bustling metropolis. For me personally I would love to wander through its halls and discover a world of culinary delights and indulge my taste buds at one of the eight restaurants, each offering a unique culinary journey that for sure would have my wonderful life giving me the “bruh you just ate” vibes. From sumptuous Italian fare to modern Japanese charcoal grill, there's something to satisfy every craving and let's not forget about the wellness center – a sprawling oasis spanning 43,000 square feet, complete with state-of-the-art facilities and rejuvenating treatments that soothe the body and soul. Whether you're unwinding in the hammam, breaking a sweat in the gym, or taking a dip in one of the Japanese baths, Janu Tokyo ensures that relaxation is always within reach.

But what sets Janu apart from its esteemed sibling, Aman? It's all about the vibe. I just went to Aman this last month to better write this article, and while Aman exudes exclusivity and retreat-like serenity, Janu Tokyo invites you to be part of something more inclusive, more vibrant, and more connected to the community. It's a place where tradition meets modernity, where luxury meets accessibility, and where every moment is infused with a sense of soulful energy. As Janu Tokyo paves the way for a new era of hospitality, Aman Group has its sights set on even greater horizons. With plans to expand the Janu brand across resort and urban markets, there's no telling where this journey will take us. But one thing's for sure – wherever Janu goes, it's sure to leave a lasting impression on all who wander its halls.
