Bloodywood and BABYMETAL

Bloodywood and BABYMETAL unite for the new song “Bekhauf”

I like many others have a soft spot for hard music in most of its forms. In the ever-evolving landscape of heavy metal, two titans have collided, creating a collaboration that spans continents. India's Bloodywood, known for their electrifying blend of Indian folk music and nu-metal, and Japan's BABYMETAL, the pop-metal pioneers (whom we support), have joined forces to deliver a track that embodies the spirit of fearless innovation: "Bekhauf."

"Bekhauf," which translates to "fearless" in Hindi, is a declaration of intent to anyone who streams it. The collaboration between Bloodywood and BABYMETAL is a match made as both bands share a unique ability to blend traditional and contemporary elements, creating a sound that is both familiar and utterly fresh. Their shared love of anime and manga further strengthens their bond, as both groups draw inspiration from the vibrant world of Japanese animation.

Bloodywood's frontman, Jayant Bhadula, has spoken openly about the band's love of anime, citing series like Dragon Ball Z and Hunter x Hunter as major influences. He has even suggested that their song "Aaj" was inspired by the concept of "Kaio-ken," a powerful technique used by Goku in Dragon Ball Z to temporarily increase his power. Listen To the song here, and let us know what you think.
