Where Performance Apparel Finds Sculptural Inspiration

Bandit, the running brand known for its performance-driven ethos, is expanding its collaboration with ASICS beyond footwear with the launch of an eight-piece apparel capsule for Spring 2025. This collection arrives in tandem with the highly anticipated Bandit x ASICS NOVABLAST 5, marking Bandit's inaugural foray into collaborative footwear.

This apparel line is conceived as a seamless fusion of high-performance innovation and elevated design aesthetics. The entire collection draws inspiration from the influential work of Japanese American artist Isamu Noguchi, specifically his masterful manipulation of light, his exploration of translucency, and the inherent sculptural qualities found within his creations. This artistic foundation aims to elevate functional running wear into pieces that possess a distinct visual language, bridging the realms of athletic performance and artistic expression.

Bandit Drops Eight-Piece Apparel Collaboration With ASICS

The color palette chosen for the apparel collection directly complements the Bandit x ASICS NOVABLAST 5, featuring a bold seasonal mix of crisp white, Bandit's signature black, and a vibrant petal red. This cohesive color story ensures a unified look for athletes who choose to pair the footwear with pieces from the apparel line.

The collection offers a comprehensive range of options for both women and men. For women, key pieces include the Cadence Stripe™ Zip Front Race Crop and the Cadence™ Scoop Neck Run Bra. These garments are engineered with breathable mesh zones and moisture-wicking performance fabrics, prioritizing comfort and functionality during intense activity. The Cadence Stripe™ 5” Compression Shorts offer a supportive and secure fit, featuring bonded seams to minimize chafing, a reliable stay-put design, and integrated storage solutions for essentials.

The men's offerings include the Vento™ Performance Singlet, a standout piece recognized for its ultralight construction and strategically placed laser-cut perforations designed to maximize airflow and ventilation. A notable feature of the Vento™ Singlet is its heat-reactive logo, which subtly shifts from black to red as the wearer's body temperature rises, providing a visual indicator of exertion. The Striped Cadence™ 7-Pocket Half Tights can be paired with the singlet, offering full compression and four-way stretch for unrestricted movement, along with ample storage capacity.

Completing the collection are essential running accessories such as the Lite Run™ Ribbed Socks and a lightweight Nylon Run Hat, designed for comfort and performance. The outerwear component of the capsule is the Ripstop Mockneck Collab Jacket, providing a lightweight layer of protection. Throughout the collection, the ASICS and Bandit co-branding is subtly integrated, serving as a clear visual acknowledgment of the collaborative partnership.

The Bandit x ASICS footwear and apparel capsule will have an initial exclusive release for Bandit Members starting on April 3rd. Following this early access, the entire collection will be available for a general online release on April 4th, allowing a wider audience to experience this unique blend of performance and artistic inspiration. This collaboration signifies a compelling intersection of the athletic and cultural spheres, suggesting a growing trend where performance wear transcends mere functionality to embrace thoughtful design and artistic concepts.
